hah? there's no lunch break-ah?

...one of the most frequently asked question at rehearsal.
I have taken to scheduling lunch hour before rehearsals as well,

because I realized that if I don't, my actors will come to rehearsal

on an empty stomach and subsequently have interrupted meals

throughout their 5-minute breaks.

The ensemble had the privilege of staying back for a 3-hour movement
session after a 6-hour rehearsal today. It's a pizza party night.

The PC came and went, it was all like a blur to me at the end of the day. Having said that, we had a good media turnout. There were an abundance of Chinese press and, I could not believe it when KL informed me that Ee Kee from The Star was also there. Haven't seen her in 12 years and this is how we meet again.

We all got to Precious China (by the way, great Nonya food) between 1-2pm, and spent an hour and a half running around in a frenzy trying to set things up. Note to self - do not arrange for a PC at a restaurant immediately after lunch hour. The cast got their hands on the posters, seating arrangements, etc. while Dominique was busy dressing up her naked mannequins, Tim setting up the video screen while sorting out a million other things at the same time, Suan going thru his emcee notes, Sing Kiong gift wrapping VIP souvenirs, etc.

After a series of opening speeches, the cast was introduced; followed by a short performance of the finale song. That song always gives me goose bumps.

So, we are really doing this. It's official.
